We brought Dave in to finish some things in our home that we just couldn’t find the time to get to. My husband, being an able perfectionist knew that Dave was the only person he could trust to do things right, and just as good if not better than he could do himself. Dave and Seva spent a week in our home completing base trim, tile work, hung doors, various woodwork including finishing above our cabinets, fabricating transom windows above closet doors, installing new cabinet doors, and completing outdoor trim around our doors and windows. We live in an old home, so complications are to be expected, he was able to work through all of the quirks and kinks he ran into and produce the best possible outcome. They were professional and clean, making sure to tidy up after each day of work enough that I didn’t feel like my home was under construction. They show up on time, and if needed, work late to finish in the estimated time frame. We are so happy with the finished product, and the skill and masterful carpentry work that Dave brings to every job. We highly recommend hiring Dave!
I have to say, we met and took quotes from multiple contractors but found Dave from the yellow pages and I cannot say enough good things about him. In the very first visit when we told him we wanted to remodel the bathroom, our primary focus was removing the tub and replacing with a shower, eveything else was secondary but we would be willing to look at upgrading the whole bath (all original from almost 30 years), without too much fancy additions and if the price was right. I have to say we were very satisfied with the estimate, the work suggested and the eventual work done. So much so that we had our powder room done as well. What was most striking was, Dave and his team were always accomodating of any suggested small changes, of course the customer needs to be reasonable when requesting such. Dave does not take multiple jobs which meant there was complete focus on my job and no delays. I would recommend Dave any time. In fact, I already have our next job lined up with him 🙂
We had to repair the downstairs area of our bi-level due to a sewer backup. We were looking to convert our powder room into a full bath. Working with Dave Huber Customer Remodeler, we were able to accomplish our goal at a reasonable cost and at a very high level of quality. I found Dave to be very easy to work with. The crew he works with are knowledgeable and highly efficient. Dave kept to the promised project schedule. When an issue arose at the end the project, Dave went out of his way to get it corrected which I greatly appreciated. Overall I highly recommend him!

We recently had our 70’s-era kitchen remodeled by Dave Huber and company from Dave Huber Custom Remodeling. We are thrilled with the new kitchen. Work was completed in a timely manner thanks to their knowledge, skill, experience, dedication and professionalism. Dave and company were easy to talk to, listened to and addressed our questions, sought our input when needed and were respectful and flexible to our needs and wishes. The personal dedication to the work, taking extra time and effort when needed and appreciation for the smallest details in design and appearance was extraordinary. It is obvious that Dave Huber loves what he does and takes great pride in his work.
Our experience with Dave and his employee Seva in refinishing our primary bathroom was professional and the work was very well executed. They tiled the floor and shower surround, installed a new tub and vanity, including new trim, lights and switches. They were very patient in answering all our questions along the way, were very careful in putting down plastic to keep the carpeting and traffic areas clean, and made sure we were completely satisfied with the final project. The overall project took about 3 weeks to complete, factoring in templating for the custom vanity, but the tile work is by far the best we’ve seen.
From start to finish, Dave was an absolute pleasure to work with! We were preparing to sell our house and hired him to install new ceramic tile in our kitchen. Not only was Dave professional, reliable, experienced, and just an overall nice guy, but his prices were fair and reasonable vs other quotes we received. Not to mention his work is absolutely beautiful! We received so much positive feedback during showings and the house sold in a week! If you need work done, this is your guy!
Dave has done numerous jobs at our home. He built an addition to our home and remodeled our kitchen and master bathroom, repaired chimney flashing, and completely remodeled our son’s first fixer upper home. We have referred him to friends and neighbors and everyone has been very pleased with his work. Dave does excellent work and unlike many contractors, he is able to revise plans when unexpected complications arise. I am very meticulous about work done at my home and Dave always does quality work at a reasonable price.
I’ve used Dave Huber, almost exclusively for all of my renovation needs. From windows/doors, full kitchen remodels, to building closets where there are none, Dave has always provided quality at a fair price. Dave once built a closet door for a corporate C-suite office that was undisguisable from the original paneling. He takes pride in his work. In our last project, he turned my family room into a garage space for an antique car I’m restoring.
When I decided I wanted to put an outdoor kitchen down by the pond I immediately thought of Dave. With only a hand drawn sketch he was able to create a beautiful, functional island with a grill, fridge, wood storage, cement countertop and arbor. He always does great work. That’s why we are willing to wait for him to be available for our next project.
We gutted and fully remodeled a circa 1880’s slate mill. Dave and crew were fully involved start to finish. Wood siding, windows, doors, tile, trim work, etc. Their craftmanship is unmatched! Very professional and friendly. Cleaned up at the end of each day & showed up when they said they would. I always call Dave first for any project!
Started a project, found rotted floor, quickly realized I was over my head. Dave was easy to contact and quick to respond. Excellent work ethic, meticulous, very professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Affordable. Did a great job, very happy with the finished work. Highly recommend.
I needed to have a classic window made for a new stained glass installation. Dave Huber worked closely with the stained glass studio and made a perfect oak double hung frame for it. It was well installed and even made operable with the proper sash weights. I highly recommend for custom work.
We hired Dave and his team to replace our windows in our home. They were very communicative, hammered out the details, and did fantastic work! Will be hiring them again in the future!
I have used Dave for over 10 years, 1st on small projects around our home to a complete restoration of our living room, dining room, 4 bedrooms. which required electrical, painting, plumbing, and most of all finished wood work. this project est $30,000 We then hired Dave to do a complete remodel of our 5 station beauty salon that again required all construction skills est $55,000 I have given Dave’s name to all my friends and would recommend Dave to anyone. I would glad let Dave show to anyone the work he has done for us

I can’t say enough about Dave Huber custom Remodeling, He’s done all kinds of work for me on all four of my properties. He’s personal and easy to get along with, always makes sure he’s doing what the customer what’s and will offer suggestions that helps in decision making and costs on projects. He’s professional, dependable, always cleans up and you don’t find that in a lot of contractors. If he says he’s going to be there he is. He’s work is excellent and can do any kind of work from new bathroom to plastering walls. His outside work is also excellent with siding, decks and patios.

Dave Huber has renovated every room in our house over the last 17 years. We continue to use Dave because he is very knowledgeable and organized, He has always billed fairly and has kept the job site clean. We have liked Dave’s services so much that we have recommended him to family and friends and all had the same great things to say about him. Our future plans are to buy another home and we plan on using Dave’s services again.

We hired Dave after interviewing a few contractors. Dave projected a sense of confidence and both my husband and I felt extremely comfortable with Dave. We had a whole and half bath completely gutted and remodeled, exterior and screen doors on both entrances. Kitchen cabinet additions , additional recessed lighting. Ceiling fan. And the front entrance rebuilt. Dave is meticulous about his work. He doesn’t just get the job done. It’s done with pride. We highly recommend Dave for his work and reasonable prices.

Dave did a kitchen remodel job for me. He was always on time and within budget. Always courteous and cleaned up after himself and crew. He offered helpful suggestions and finished the project on time. He is truly a craftsman. His work was like that of an artist. Wouldn’t have anyone else do our work. We’ve tried others in the past but from now on, it’s Dave or we aren’t doing it.
